Epworth United Methodist church is a vibrant, intergenerational congregation located in Bethlehem Township, PA. Our worship style is best described as casual-traditional. We love one another, forgive one another, and seek to be a church where people can experience the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.
Our prayer for you is that you are abundantly aware of God’s unfailing love and unending presence wherever you are on your journey. If you see something of interest to you, please don’t hesitate to call the church office or join us in worship!
Following worship on August 28th, Ann Miller of Health Care Solution Benefits will offer a 30-minute presentation on the complexities of Medicare. It is appropriate for anyone approaching 65 or for those who need more information. There will be time for questions. If interested, please sign up on the sheet posted on the bulletin board in the Narthex.
Rally Day is September 11th. We will enjoy an old fashion covered dish luncheon following worship. Everyone is asked to bring a favorite covered dish, salad, and/or dessert to be shared with the church family. Beverages will be supplied. A sign-up sheet is located on the narthex bulletin board.
Reminder: Worship returns to 10:45 AM on Rally Day.
We would like to send our group on their mission trip with a nice warm breakfast on the morning of July 31. Their departure time is 7 AM. If you would care to make a donation towards the breakfast, we will need eggs, bread, milk and syrup. Donations of eggs and milk may be placed in the refrigerator no later than Friday, July 29. Also, if you would be willing to help with the clean-up following the breakfast, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, you may contact Marilyn Bass or Shirley Pysher. Thank you.
The Book Club will gather 7 PM on Thursday, July 28th. We will be reading Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. All are welcome to join us. If you’d like more information on meeting place, please call the church office.
