Christmas Cards For Inmates

After the 10:45 am service on September 30th, Epworth United Methodist Church members and friends will be working on our Fifth Sunday mission project.  We will be assembling and signing Christmas cards to deliver to local prison inmates through the conference prison ministry program.  Marilyn Bass has been working with Pastor Don Moore and the Reverend Marilyn Schneider on this project.  You may remember that our church collected Christmas cards last January for this project.  Our cards will be going to a county prison in Easton.  We will gather after church on the 30th, bring a simple lunch, and write messages of hope and support to be delivered to our brothers and sisters in prison.  Contact the church office for additional information.

2018 Rally Day

Rally Day is Coming!

Join us on Sunday September 9 to Celebrate Rally Day.  This year’s Service and Special Program will involve sharing the stories and experiences of our 2018 Mission Trip to Red Bird Mission in Kentucky. Not only will our Epworth Missionaries take part in the regular Service but stay after church as they share pictures and stories of the trip.  What moved them? What changed them? What were their God Moments?  Please plan to join us in Fellowship as we relate our spiritual experiences.Rally Day

August 2018 Mission Partner

Our Mission Partner for the month is Northeast Ministries.  The following items will be collected: school supplies, paper products, back packs and arts and craft supplies.  In addition we will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Northeast Food Pantry.  As usual, items may be brought to church and placed in the red wagon located in the narthex.

Weekly Holy Time

This is a reminder that Holy Time meets every Tuesday morning at 9:15 am in Fellowship Hall. All are invited to join in for food, fellowship, prayer and a weekly scripture lesson.
